Since 2009 — a supporter of the All-Ukrainian Union "SVOBODA." Together with a team of like-minded colleagues and comrades, he implements the party's "Program for the Protection of Ukrainians."
Between the villages of Lozy and Kotyuzhyny in Zbarazh district, nearly fifty Ukrainian insurgents fell in an unequal battle in 1944. With the support of MP Mykhailo Holovko, a granite cross was erected on the grave and a chapel was built. Volodymyr Demchuk personally supervised the construction and landscaping work.
In memory of fallen soldiers native to Zbarazh region, a pedestal with two sculptures of Heroes — Ustym Holodniuk and Nazarii Voitovych — was erected. As director of the municipal enterprise "Zbarazhproekt," Demchuk developed the project and layout plan, then organized the construction. Implemented with support from the NGO "Our Public Cause" and MP M. Holovko.
Sole proprietor V. Demchuk carried out major renovation works on the monument to soldiers who fell in the Second World War — restoring the memorial and implementing decommunization measures. The site of remembrance was cleansed of Soviet symbols and given a dignified appearance.
Three months of meticulous work — and the Heavenly Hundred stele was installed. A team of builders and a sculptor brought to life in stone the memory of the Revolution of Dignity, which will never be forgotten. "These events became a catalyst for change in the country and, unfortunately, are still ongoing," — architect V. Demchuk.
